One arrested after allegedly threatening Upshur County judge

UPSHUR COUNTY, W.Va. Threats against a judge made at a Community Corrections Day Report Center in Upshur County have resulted in one arrest.

On Feb. 2, police learned of the threat made against Judge Kurt Hall, allegedly by Matthew George.

When police encountered George outside the building, he denied making a threat, but quickly changed his story when the police showed him video evidence of the threat and provided an eyewitness account.

George has been charged with making a terrorist threat.
