One arrested following Fairmont shooting

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – A wounded suspect has been charged with attempted murder after an incident on Maple Avenue in Fairmont Thursday night.

Fairmont police responded to the shots fired call just before 10:45 p.m. and found Kenyatta Ephraim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Ephraim faces attempted murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the Fairmont Police Department.

No other information has been released.
