MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Maryland man faces charges for setting a mattress on fire in downtown Morgantown.
Jett Cetin D’Eugenio, 19, of Finksburg, Maryland faces one charge of malicious burning in connection to an incident in June.
Firefighters from the South Side Fire Station responded to the burning mattress call late in the evening of June 8, 2017, on North Spruce Street.
D’Eugenio was released on a $250 bond. The minimum fine for burning anything in the street or sidewalk is $1,000. The maximum fine is $2,000.
