One local, two Detroit suspects snared in Monongalia County drug raid

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. – Members of the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Task Force made three arrests and confiscated a large amount of drugs while serving a search warrant in the county.

On May 26, task force members made contact with James Fisher, 37, of Morgantown; Robert Blackwell, 25, and Dontize Sims, 26, both of Detroit, at a residence on Harley Drive.

In the home, police located 2.6 pounds of marijuana, packaging materials, scales, and cash. In a vehicle parked at the residence, police recovered more than 20 grams of heroin and 60 grams of fentanyl.

All three subjects have been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and are being held without bond in the North Central Regional Jail.
