KINGWOOD, W.Va. — The Preston County Sheriff’s Department has identified the man killed in a single vehicle crash Friday morning.
Stephen Hilton, 65, of Rowlesburg was killed in the accident early Friday at bottom of Cheat Mountain on George Washington Highway (Route 50).
Sheriff’s deputies, Union Ambulance and Aurora Volunteer Fire Department crews discovered the driver, who had been traveling alone, dead at the scene.
The cause of the single vehicle crash is under investigation.
