CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Police in Harrison County are investigating what they believe to be a hit-and-run after a woman was found lying unconscious Monday night.
She was found on Simpson Street in the community of Summit Park with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Emergency services transported her to United Hospital Center and her condition is unknown at this time.
More information is expected as the investigation led by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department continues.
