Police Investigating Altercation in Which Man Found With Stab Wounds at Harrison County Convenience Store

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A man is reportedly recovering from stab wounds after what police in Harrison County are describing as an “altercation” at a convenience store.

Authorities arrived at the GoMart along Rt. 19 near the VA bridge in Clarksburg at around 9 p.m. Monday night and found the victim on the ground in the parking lot with what appeared to be four stab wounds on his leg.

He was transported to United Hospital Center where his condition is unclear at this time.

Police are unsure of what exactly led to the altercation at this time, but do believe there were three people involved that were probably strangers to one another.

No arrests have been made at this point as the investigation conducted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department continues.
