Preston County woman jailed for selling drugs in Monongalia County

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A Preston County woman is facing charges after allegedly selling methamphetamine in Monongalia County.

Members of the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force set up a controlled buy of a “quantity” of methamphetamine from Erin O’Hara, 41, of Independence, on March 13. The purchase was completed by a confidential informant with marked currency supplied by the task force.

A field test was used to confirm that it was methamphetamine.
