Public invited to attend Focus Forward: West Virginia’s Digital Destiny

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – More than 400 statewide leaders will come to Morgantown Wednesday, March 27 for Focus Forward: West Virginia’s Digital Destiny. The event will be held at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The sixth annual event is hosted by the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative and the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation and will explore what it means to become a digital West Virginia. Registration is required. 

Presentations will highlight to technologies coming online that will revolutionize all aspects of society and how we communicate with one another — at home, at work and at school. Presenters will provide insight into what your digital identity really is and the state would benefit from digitization.

When the conference ends, a special reception hosted by Discover the Real West Virginia is planned with Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute Executive Director Dr. Ali Rezai. Pre-registration is required for this event.
