Search continues for missing Clarksburg man after nearly a month

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Police in Clarksburg are requesting the public’s help in locating a man who has not been seen since late May.

Richard Stonebreaker, 46, of Clarksburg, was reportedly last located leaving his residence in the Stealey neighborhood on May 26 and was officially reported as missing on June 1, when he was then entered into the National Crime Information Center’s database, according to the Clarksburg Police Department.

He is described as being six feet tall, weighing around 145 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes and has been known to spend time at both the Clarksburg Mission and the GoMart located on the corner of Main and Chestnut Streets.

Police fear that as a man with several medical conditions, he has been without his medications for nearly a month.
