CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A Clarksburg woman has entered a guilty plea to car jacking charges in federal court.
Documents say Courtney Oliverio, 39, admitted to helping Christopher Vickers, 31, of Clarksburg, try to steal a motorcycle from a residence in Shinnston in June of 2020.
Oliverio could be sentenced to up to 15-years in prison and face a fine of up to $250,000.
Vickers also pleaded guilty to carjacking and using a gun while committing the crime in the case.
Vickers and Oliverio went to the home in Shinnston to take a motorcycle, according to court documents. Investigators say Vickers held a gun to the head of the woman and then to the head of the child before ramming a vehicle into the garage to get the motorcycle.
The Shinnston Police Department investigated the case.
