MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Monongalia County Sheriffs Department says one person was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital following a crash Wednesday afternoon on southbound I-79 at the Marion County line.
Officials are asking motorists to avoid the area due to heavy traffic. No lanes of the highway have been shutdown, but the accident clean up and investigation is slowed traffic.
Find an alternate route if possible.
