MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia State Police are searching for a missing Hinton woman who could be in the northern West Virginia area.
Valarie Whittaker, 41, was last on scene on Oct. 8 when she was dropped off at the McDonalds on Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley, where an acquaintance dropped her off to catch a Greyhound bus later that day.
Family members told police they have seen or heard from Whittaker since Oct. 8.
State police believe Whittaker could be in the northern West Virginia area.
