HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va – Troopers from the Bridgeport Detachment of the West Virginia State Police confirm Nicholas Littleton was located in the Gypsy area Wednesday morning.

Troopers from the Bridgeport Detachment of the West Virginia State Police are searching for a suspect in a theft investigation after he fled from a marked police cruiser Tuesday night.
Nicholas Littleton was put in a police cruiser after being placed under arrest in connection with a theft case on Hughes Rd. in the Gypsy area. At 11:30 p.m., troopers discovered Littleton had fled on foot from the cruiser and could not be found.
First responders from several agencies, including a K-9 officer, were unable to locate the suspect.
In addition to charges related to the theft investigation, he is also facing felony escape charges.
Littleton is described as a white male, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, with brown hair, a beard, and a mustache.
Littleton also has ties to the Marion County communities of Monongah and Carolina.
