Stonewood City Hall closes due to COVID exposures

STONEWOOD, W.Va. – In a post on social media, the City of Stonewood announced the closure of city hall for a few weeks due to illness.

The message refers to “recent COVID exposures among employees” as the reason for the closure.

Due to recent COVID exposures among employees, City Hall will be closed to the public. We will reopen to the public on January 1st, 2024, to reduce the risk of exposing the public. Please be patient and understanding with us at this time. Staff will be in the office working. If you have any questions, please call in at (304) 623-2919 and press the respective extension. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our community is our number one priority.
