MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Detectives in Morgantown continue their investigation into a shooting they stumbled onto while responding to a crash Monday at 9:16 p.m. on Don Knotts Boulevard at the Waterfront Hotel.
When police arrived at 9:16 p.m. the driver of one of the vehicles had a gunshot wound to the right shoulder an another suspect who is believed to be the shooter fled the scene.
Police have described the suspect who fled as a black male with short black hair wearing a black leather jacket and dark jeans.
The victim was transported by Mon County EMS with serious injuries, but is expected to recover.
