Suspect in Pennsylvania theft cases believed to be in Morgantown sought by federal agents

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The U.S. Marshals Service is assisting authorities in Pennsylvania to find a theft suspect that could be hiding in the Morgantown area.

U.S. Marshal Terry Moore said Brian Woy, 40, is described as a white male, 6-feet tall and 215 pounds. He was last known to have a blonde mohawk but may have changed his appearance to avoid capture. He was driving a 2008 Black Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a stolen PA license plate ZTP6447. The truck may have black painted wheels and likely has damage to the front end and bed area.

“March 24 he was involved in a pursuit in Maryland in which he evaded capture,” Moore said. “From that pursuit we believe he headed to the Morgantown, West Virginia area.”

Moore said Woy is wanted for multiple theft charges in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.

Reports indicate Woy could be traveling with Darcy Stanton, 43. She is described as a white female, 5-feet 3-inches, 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Like Woy, Stanton is wanted in Cambria County.

“If you have more of an investigative tip on where he might be or where he has been in the area we ask that you call the U.S. Marshals at 304-623-0486,” Moore said.

Woy has a long history of theft, fraud and evading or attempting to evade capture.

“We believe that he will likely flee from any attempt to catch him,” Moore said. “So, law enforcement would ask citizens to contact us so we can formulate a plan to try to capture him safely.”
