Taylor County woman sentenced to 12 years in federal drug case

CLARKSBURG, W. Va. A Flemington woman has been sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison for her role in a methamphetamine distribution operation.

Kayla Marie Cline, 32, was sentenced to 148 months for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Court documents said Cline ran the operation from a home in Taylor County and worked with others to travel to and from Morgantown to meet suppliers or conduct drug transactions. Investigators believe Cline handled more than three pounds of methamphetamine.

The case was investigated by the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force.
