Tennessee murder suspect arrested in Bridgeport

wajr_plugBridgeport, W.Va. — A man wanted on murder charges in Tennessee was arrested by State Police on Wednesday in Bridgeport.

Chad Everette Henry, 38, of Henderson, Tennessee, is alleged to have run over his wife, Kelly Henry, with a pickup truck in December 2014. She later died in the hospital on January 1.

According to the Exponent Telegram, Henry was located working at a pipe yard near the Pete Dye Golf Club and arrested by troopers from the Bridgeport Detachment, with cooperation from a helicopter unit from Charleston.

Henry was arraigned in Harrison County Magistrate Court and transported to North Central Regional Jail on the charge of being a fugitive from justice, according to the state Regional Jail Authority.

Henry will be scheduled to appear before a circuit court judge for an extradition hearing at a later date.

He is charged with murder and aggravated kidnapping in Decatur County, Tennessee.
