MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Texas man is facing numerous felony charges following an incident where he tried to run over a police officer.
Police said Isaiah Davis, 26, attempted to flee following a traffic stop in downtown Morgantown Wednesday, Jan. 3 near the intersection of Price Street and Wiles Street.
After police subdued Davis, they said they found an open plastic bag of marijuana, heroin, xanax, ecstasy, and a firearm.
Davis has been charged with intent to deliver and as a felon in possession of a firearm.
