Threats of racial violence lead to arrest in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Police in Clarksburg have made an arrest following the discovery of notes threatening racial violence found in a local hotel.

On Monday, staff at the Days Inn on Tolley Drive reported notes found on the property saying, “It’s time for white America to take the country back.” The notes went on to say members of other racial groups would be killed and bombs would be placed in the hotel.

Edward Queen, 68, allegedly made multiple references to multiple hate groups and signed the notes, “Ed Queen.”

Queen faces a charge of making terrorist threats and is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond in the North Central Regional Jail.
