HAZELTON, W.Va. — A container truck accident on Interstate-68 closed all three east bound lanes Monday afternoon.
According to Preston County 911 officials, emergency crews were arriving on scene just before 12:30 near the 31 mile marker between Hazelton
and the Maryland- West Virginia state line.
The contents of the truck was being evaluated to determine if hazmat crews would need to be called in for clean up.
All three east bound lanes were closed because of the wreck. West bound lanes of Interstate-68 were still flowing.
There was no information at the time of this posting regarding injuries or a potential cause.
