Traffic stop yields two drug arrests

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. – A Friday night traffic stop on I-79 for a bad license plate bulb led to two arrests and the confiscation of cash and drugs.

Deputies say when they made contact with Casey Blosser, 40, of Reedsville, and Chico Ford, 44, of Detroit, Michigan, they seemed nervous. Officers summoned a canine officer to the scene and narcotics were detected during a free-air sniff around the vehicle.

After a search, deputies found out why- the pair had more than $14,000 in cash, marijuana, phsychodelic mushrooms, cocaine and a handgun.

Both have been charged with possession with intent to deliver and are being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
