MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The former Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputy charged last year following a road rage incident in Monongalia County goes to trial Monday.

William Sothen, 63, of Salem, faces a misdemeanor battery charge following an Aug. 28, 2017 incident on Van Voorhis Road where he appears to put his hands on a fellow motorist.
