BAXTER, W.Va. – A dump truck with a load of gravel reportedly hit a gas line near the old Post Office in Baxter causing a fire Friday morning.
The incident happened at 6:15 a.m. and destroyed the truck and caused heavy damage to the building.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Baxter, Rivesville, Barrackville, Farmington, Fairview and Grant Town assisted.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation.
