WESTOVER, W.Va. – Two people are recovering after being splashed with an unknown liquid or chemical from a passing truck Tuesday.
Westover police said that around 9 p.m., the two victims were at the corner of Dupont and River Roads when the incident occurred.
The type of liquid could not be confirmed, and the truck that leaked the substance has not been found.
The incident happened near the Morgantown Industrial Park, where several companies use a variety of chemicals regularly.
