Vacant house fire reported in Harrison County Sunday

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. – Multiple units battled a fire in a vacant structure in Harrison County for about two hours early Sunday.

Firefighters from Nutter Fort, Spelter, Stonewood, and Reynoldsville responded to the blaze at 2:17 a.m. Sunday on Junkins Avenue.

The single-story structure was in a thick wooded area and was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

The Mount Clare Fire Department and Harrison County Emergency Squad responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The cause remains under investigation.
