MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – An investigation into a vehicle accident in Morgantown Monday led police to a gunshot victim and shooting investigation.
At 9:16 p.m., Morgantown police were called to the scene in front of the Waterfront Hotel on Don Knotts Boulevard and found the driver of one of the vehicles had a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Another male was seen fleeing on foot from the area by witnesses involved in the incident. The victim was transported by Mon County EMS with serious injuries, but is expected to recover.
