Virginia mother and daughter reported missing on way to Randolph County campground

RANDOLPH COUNTY, W.Va. – A mother and daughter traveling from Virginia to a campground in Randolph County have been reported missing.

According to the Prince George County Police Department, Martha Bates, 42, and her daughter Mary Bates, 15, were last seen July 9 at 4 p.m. in the area of Monterey, Virginia, while traveling to Camp Carlo in Huttonsville.

Martha is described as a white female, 5-foot-3-inches, 345 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses. Mary is a white girl, 5-feet tall and 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The two were last seen in a silver 2015 Nissan Rogue with Virginia license plate UVL9169.
