Warrants out for two involved in April murder

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Search warrants have been obtained for two of the three individuals believed to be involved in the murder of Timothy Pahl.

Police issued a warrant for Glenn Weaver, Jr., 25, of Morgantown, for felony conspiracy, accessory after the fact, daytime burglary and grand larceny in connection to the April 22 murder of 67-year-old Pahl.

Deputies have also obtained a warrant for Elizabeth Hartley, 34, of Grafton, for accessory after the fact.

According to a news release from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, the two are being charged for their actions and involvement in allegedly aiding Elizabeth Chinn in Pahl’s murder. Chinn, 32, of South Point, Ohio, has already been charged with murder.

Chinn reportedly confessed to burglarizing Pahl’s home on April 22. While inside, Pahl returned home and confronted Chinn. During the confrontation, police said Chinn admitted to shooting Pahl more than once in the stomach.

Weaver and Chinn are accused of later conspiring to return to the residence to steal Pahl’s property.

Police claim Weaver was also involved in the theft of Pahl’s 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck, after which he operated, removed the On-Star modular, and painted it a different color in an attempt to allude law enforcement.

All three are still being held in the Luzerne County Jail in Pennsylvania awaiting extradiction.
