WESTOVER, W.Va. – The investigation into reports of dead cats in Westover is continuing.
Residents in the Dunkard Avenue/Snyder Street area have reported as many as 30 cats have been found dead in the last two weeks or so. There has been no confirmation, but resident believe the cats have been poisoned.
Chief of Police in Westover Joe Adams said they questioned one person but have been able to rule them out as a suspect. Officers continue to follow leads in the case.
