CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A Clarksburg resident has been arrested for drugs after allegedly riding an electric bicycle the wrong way through traffic Sunday.
Police found Joseph Burge, 41, riding an electric bicycle against traffic patterns on S. 4th Street and discovered he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
While taking Burge into custody, police recovered more than $500 in cash, a bag of suspected marijuana, three bags of a substance that tested positive for fentanyl, and three cell phones that reportedly had evidence of drug purchases on them.
Burge has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
