MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Morgantown Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of entry-level firefighter.
Applications are available at the Morgantown City Clerk’s Office at 389 Spruce St. or on the city’s website. The completed application and $25 application fee are due in the city clerk’s office by 5 p.m. October 18.
There will be an agility test at 1 p.m. October 26 at the Northside Fire Station.
Agility exam practice is available at the Northside Fire Station from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on September 21 and October 19.
Applicants who pass the agility test will be given a book to study for the 100-question, written Civil Service Exam which will be given on November 25. The time and location have not been announced.
Applicants need to score at least 70% on the written exam.
