Monday arrest after victims say burglar stole meat, butter and game system

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An accused Morgantown burglar was arrested Monday after police said he took random items from a downtown apartment.

Victims at the Wall Street address told police they woke up in their bedroom to a man stealing items from their home.

They told police the man shoved a game console, butter and ground beef in a pillow case before taking off.

Police arrested James Ajax Severe, 23, nearby after victims identified him as the burglary suspect.

According to a criminal complaint, Ajax allegedly told the victims, “I am in all of your (expletive)” before leaving.
