Lost Creek Woman Pleads Guilty to Distributing Fentanyl

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A 24 year old Lost Creek woman faces up to life in prison after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl.

Taylor Michelle Syslo, age 24, pled guilty to one count of “Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl.”  The crime occurred in September 2016 in Marion County.

Syslo also faces a fine of up to $1,000,000. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Shawn M. Adkins and Assistant U.S Attorney Traci M. Cook prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force investigated. U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael John Aloi presided.
