COVID testing offered in Harrison County this weekend

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A COVID spike in Harrison County has sent schools to remote learning, cancelled sports and concerned the community.

The daily infection rate peaked on Monday at 10 percent and by Thursday dropped slightly to 6.18 percent. There are 78 active cases and 10 people have died from COVID-19 in Harrison County.

Free testing will be offered at the Nathan Goff Armory in Clarksburg Saturday and Sunday. Saturday residents can be tested from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday testing is available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Harrison County is orange on the County Alert System.
