Fairmont man gets five year prison sentence for meth distribution

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Brandon Mays, 30, of Fairmont, will serve 5 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine in Monongalia County.

United States Attorney Bill Powell says Mays sold the drug in Monongalia County in October of 2017 and entered a guilty plea in March of 2019.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Greater Harrison Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force assisted.
