Fairmont Police Searching for Suspect in Alleged Pharmacy Robbery

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Police in Marion County are asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of robbing a Fairmont pharmacy of prescription drugs Tuesday night.

The suspect came into the Rite Aid along Fairmont Avenue at around 7:15 p.m., allegedly said he had a gun and demanded narcotics.

A pharmacist complied with the demands and the suspect left with an unknown amount.

Police say the description puts the wanted white male at 5’10 with light brown hair and full beard. He wore baggy blue jeans, a thick Carhardt-type coat with a hood, a flat brim yellow and black hat and black shoes during the robbery.
