First ever statewide Drug Tip Line rolled out

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Homeland Security introduced a statewide toll-free Drug Tip Line.

Now, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week residents can leave information about drug activity with a live staff member.

Tips can also be left online with this link.

The toll-free number is 1-833-905-DRUG or 3784.

Callers will be asked to provide as much detail as possible like the date and time of suspicious activity, location of county, city, road area, or rural area where suspicious activity is taking place, names of people involved, and drugs involved.
