Missing Kentucky girl found in Harrison County, one arrested

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. – Police were able to recover a missing girl from Kentucky and make an arrest.

A report from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department says at 10 a.m. police began an investigation into a report of a girl walking along Route 58. Police found the girl with no clothes on and determined she had been reported missing from Kentucky.

Deputies found Christopher Watson near the scene and detained him. Later, the girl identified Watson as her attacker.

Watson has been charged with third degree sexual assault.

The incident is still under investigation.
