Recycling available in Marion County

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Recycling continues at the Farmington location of the Marion County Solid Waste District.

The public drop-off site is open 24-7 for cardboard, newspaper, magazines, office paper, aluminum cans, steel cans and #1 & #2 plastics. Glass, tires and electronics will not be accepted.

On June 1 limited operations will resume at the Main Facility on Ida May Hill in Farmington, the Barrackville Post Office, Monongah Town Hall, East Marion Park behind the Visitor’s Center. Toothman and Sowers Ford in White Hall, the Fairview Dollar Store and the Amettesville Public Library in Mon County.
