UPDATED: One dies in Taylor County small plane crash

GRAFTON,W.Va. – Officials now confirm one person was killed in an air crash in the Grafton area today.

West Virginia State police say the call came in at 12:56 p.m. about the crash reportedly along the Taylor/Marion County line near Delanaey lane.

Officials say the single engine aircraft originated from Indiana and was bound for Massachusetts. The aircraft stopped in Bridgeport to refuel before the crash happened.

No names have been released. The Investigation is ongoing.

TAYLOR/MARION COUNTY LINE, W.Va. – West Virginia State Police say at 12:56 this afternoon a small aircraft went down along the Taylor/Marion County line near Delaney Lane.

Agencies from both counties are on the ground along with the Grafton Fire Department. There is no information about the number of passengers or injuries, if any.

The investigation is ongoing.
