Traffic violation leads to drug arrest

SUMMITT PARK, W.Va. – Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Clarksburg man and confiscated a variety of drugs recently.

Police stopped Jerome Johnson, 32, after he failed to make a complete stop at East Pike Street and Wonderbar Road at 3:13 a.m.

During a search of the vehicle police found 19.13 grams of methamphetamine, 11 xanax pills, four percosets, five hydrocodone pills, five suboxone pills, scales and numerous baggies.

Johnson has been charged with possession of a controled substance with intent to deliver. He is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
